Daughter of Stephen T. Garner and Nancy Snoddy and wife of William Jefferson Pemberton. In Sept. 1869 she was married and given along with her new husband part of the large farm she was raised on. Garner`s lived off County Rd. 259, Howard County, Mo. next to the Snoddy`s. Wm. Jefferson Pemberton`s new farm was known as the "Kentucky Horse Farm" where he raised prized livestock of all kinds especially fine horses.
