Billy Ray Davis, 55, of White Oak, passed away May 19 at Jellico Community Hospital. He was born March 3, 1954 at Jellico.
Billy was preceded in death by daughter, Velvet Davis; father, Bill J. Davis; infant brothers, Elbert and Delbert Davis; granddaughter, Jessica Bell; son-in-law, Dole Harmon.
Billy is survived by wife, Phyllis Davis of White Oak; mother, Ruth Davis of Clairfield; children, Theresa Harmon of Newcomb, Stanley Davis of Middlesboro, KY, Lavenda and Adam Falconer of Middlesboro, KY, Billie Faye and Will Heatherly of Jacksboro; Lila "Christy" Davis and Josh Overbay of LaFollette; grandchildren, Chelsie Harmon and Devan Harmon of Newcomb, Bradley Davis of Jacksboro, Ryan Ridenour and Sheldon Cowling of Middlesboro, KY, Amber Ridenour of Roses Creek; sisters, Barbara and Clifford Hatfield of Clairfield, Brenda Sue and Alan King of Eagan.
Funeral services were held May 22 in the Cox and Son Chapel with the Rev. Roger Hurst and Brother Clyde Davis officiating. Interment was in the Bowman Cemetery. Cox and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
