"Private family services were held for Thomas E. Buford, 71, of Cool. Cremation was by El Dorado County Memorial Society Crematory with arrangements by Chapel of the Pines. Interment was at Georgetown Cemetery.
Mr. Buford died April 13 at his home. A native of Oklahoma, he had lived in El Dorado COunty for three years, 31 years in California. He had been a rancher.
He was the father of Julia Howard of Cool, Billy Buford of Alabama, Ray Buford of Pennsylvania and Roy Buford of Citrus Heights; and the brother of Comer Bufird of Cupertino. Roy and T. C. Buford and Ruth Taylor, all of Porterville and Maxine Corbin and Juanita Wallace, both of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild."
