Albert Lee Hoover, 74, of Albright, WV, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at his home under the care of Hospice Care Corporation.
The son of the late Louis and Stella May Spiker Hoover, he was born May 6, 1932, in Jennings (Garrett County), MD, and was a retired timberman and coal miner.
Albert is survived by four daughters: Stella Darlene Shaffer and her husband, David, of Bruceton Mills, Debbie Feather and her husband, Marvin, of Kingwood, Lisa Miller and her husband, Charles, of Albright, and Katina Parker and her husband, Jeremiah, of Albright; a son, David Hoover and his wife, Kimberly, of Albright; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley McNear Hoover, June 16, 1997; three sons: Randy, Steven, and Tony; a daughter, Brenda Braham; a granddaughter, Shanetta Hoover, a grandson, cory Shaffer; eight sisters, and 3 brothers.
Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, December 28, 2006, from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Neil Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Run Cemetery, Albright.
