Mrs. Atkinson moved to Muleshoe in 1940. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. Survived by five daughters - Mrs. Loyd Davenport, Mrs. R.B. Chappell, Mrs. Gerard Sneller, Mrs. L.G. Bradfute, Mrs. Bob Gutleben; two sisters - Ethel Webbs, Eula Hardin; one brother - Joe Banta; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
