Garland, 67, died in New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Born the son of the late Newton and Lottie Parrish Beasley. Mr. Beasley was retired from DuPont and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church where he was the "Sound Engineer." Survivors include his wife June P. Beasley; a son, Alan Beasley and wife Kristie of Boiling Spring Lakes, NC; granddaughters, Cristina, Brooke and Lauran.
