The funeral for Mrs. Eileen Marie Kennedy, 76, of Hamilton Grove Retirement Center, New Carlisle, and formerly of La Porte and Union Mills, who died at 4:17 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 1991 at La Porte Hospital, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cutler Funeral Home, with Rev. Nancy Elgar officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the service. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
She was born January 15, 1915, in Alton, Illinois, to Elmer and Ruth (Warner) Clark and lived in New Carlisle since 1989. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church; Professional Womens Club and had been a stenographer for the Social Security Administration.
She married Paul W. Kennedy, who died February 27, 1964.
Surviving are one daughter, Shirley R., of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sons, Robert Jonasen, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Frederick Jonasen, of Ridgecest, California; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
