Mr. Croisant was born March 8, 1937, in Spring Valley to Theodore and Luella (Helm) Croisant. He married Suzanne Glover in Friends Meeting House in McNabb on Dec. 9, 1962.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965 and then served with the National Guard.
Mr. Croisant was a member of the Hollowayville United Church of Christ, many other church activities, including the church board, and the Green River Saddle and Tri-City Saddle Clubs. He enjoyed horseback riding and life on the farm.
Mr. Croisant is survived by two sons, John (Barb) Croisant and Gene (Dawn)Croisant, both of rural Princeton; three daughters, Sheri (Butch) Sterling of Hollowayville, Lorri (Layne) Kierski of rural Princeton and Julie (Matt)McDonald of Ladd; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Aug. 30, 2007.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hollowayville United Church of Christ with the Rev. Michael Slutz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military services conducted by the Ladd American Legion.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church.
