COLORADO CITY ~~ Wilbur Dale Bowman, 53, retired bus line employee, died Saturday at his home in Colorado City. Justice of the Peace, Leonard Henderson has ordered an autopsy but said Sunday that Mr. Bowman had been in ill health for some time and his retirement had been a disability retirement.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church with the Reverend Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor officiating. The body will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Franklin-Britton Funeral Home.

Mr. Bowman was born in Independence, Missouri, August 12, 1918, and came to Colorado City about six months ago. He was a Marine Veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy J. Bowman; three sons, Buddy of Midland, and Ricky and Wilbur both of the home; two daughters, Valorene Sue and Doretta Charleyne both of the home; one brother, Robert of Tempe, Arizona; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Moseman of Libby, Montana; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd F. Bowman of Missouri.
