Charlie Dixon Ratcliff, Jr, age 88, of Texarkana, Arkansas died March 23, 2013, in a local hospital.

Mr. Ratcliff was born October 7, 1924, in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from Junkin Lumber Company, was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict, and was an Elder at Highland Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his wife Neva LaDell Martin Ratcliff.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Martin and Christine Ratcliff; a step grandson Michael Pippin; a nephew Kenny Ratcliff; two nieces Tammy Ratcliff Cantrell and Patricia Ratcliff Huff; a cousin Margie Cornett, and a number of other relatives.

Memorial Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday at Highland Church of Christ with Chris Hooten officiating. Private burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
