An excellent homemaker and supporting her husband, Howard, in farming, June was also employed at the Village Shoppe and Ricks College. The daughter of Rosabelle Stoker and William Henry Covington, she was born in Rexburg. In the Salt Lake LDS Temple, on June 28, 1939, she married Howard S. Widdison. They had three children. Following the death of Howard on October 6, 1990, she married Tim Parkinson on 29 July 1994. They spent their summers in Rexburg and their winters in Arizona and St. George, Utah. A member of the LDS Church, she was active in church and civic clubs. June's special interest included gardening, reading, crocheting and embroidery. She loved to entertain her family and friends and always looked forward to preparing wonderful meals for all. June is survived by her husband, Tim Parkinson, Iona; her children, Linda (Kesl) Hunter, Moreland, Eileen Widdison, Wellsville, Utah, and Bill Widdison, Denver; a brother, Ross Covington, Ammon; sister, Dorothy (Doug) Asay, Bountiful Utah; four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; step children, Lou (Larry) Campbell, Milo, Tim (Betty) Parkinson, Rexburg, JoAnn (Byron) Webster, Rexburg. Preceding her in death was her parents, three brothers, Edgar, Edward and Vern Covington, two sisters, Elva Johnson and Bea Parkinson.
