Richard A Ebbert born January 28, 1918 died March 13, 2013. Richard was a life long resident of Auburn. He attended Alta Vista Grammer School and Placer High. He worked at Auburn Lumber and Cal-Ida Lumber for 30 + years. He served in the Army in World War II where he was awarded a purple heart and a silver star. He was a 75 year member of the Odd Fellows #7.
He was preceded in death by wife, Elsie Ebbert; companion, Alice Daniels; and son, Frank Taylor. He leaves behind daughter, Susan Moore; son, Robert Ebbert; daughter-In-law, Marge Taylor; five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Auburn Odd Fellows Hall. in lieu of flowers donate to our veterans.
