Ona Avis Edwards, daughter of Staley Edwards residing near Maxwell, was born February 20, 1891 at Waverly, Illinois, and died April 2, 1914 at 6:30 o'clock, seven miles north of Waverly.
At the age of thirteen years she became a member of the Christian church at Loami. On September 30, 1908 she was united in marriage to Roy Franklin To this union was born one child, Helen.
the deceased is survived by her husband, one daughter, her father Staley Edwards, and three brothers, Albert of Waverly, Starr of Maxwell and Leslie residing at home; besides numerous other relatives, and many friends.
The funeral services were held at the Christian church in this city Saturday morning, April 4th, at 10 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. E. C. Lucas.
Interment was in East cemetery.
