Steel, Robert D. CDR USNR (Ret.) LA JOLLA -- Robert Steel, age 93, passed away March 4, 2013. After serving during World War II he joined The Office Of Naval Intelligence (ONI) and retired after 25 years of service as a Special Agent. Private inurnment will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Judith and daughter Stephanie S. Johnson and family of Virigina.
