Miss Laura E. Brown of Oak Park
died on Friday of last week at her home,
200 North Lombard. She had been a
resident of the village for the last t2
years and lived in Austin during the
early part of her life, having been born
in Chicago.
Oak Park Chapter, Order of the Eastern
Star, of which the deceased was a
member, conducted services at the home
at 2:30 o'clock on Monday. Dr. Albert
W. Palmer, pastor of the First .Congregational
church, was the officiating
clergyman. Miss Brown was a member
also of the First Methodist church of
Austin. Interment was at Forest Home.
Besides her mother, Eliza Ann Brown,
two sisters, Mrs. R. B. Newell and Evelyn
A. Brown, both of Oak Park, and a
brother, Irving G. Brown, of New York
City, survive.
