Per family story -both J.W. and Sarah are here, along with daughter, Martha -unsure about Webb but will list him here for record. Wesley farmed and did a little preaching. He was the son of Hardy Watford and Nancy Mixon. Nancy died after 1850 probably in Dale Co. AL and may be buried in Big Creek with other relatives. Hardy b.c1784 Pitt Co. NC & married Nancy about 1804 in SC. Hardy served in the War of 1812, Alston's 3rd Rgt SC, and was the son of Joseph Watford, Revolutionary Soldier buried at Big Creek. After
Nancy died he moved in with son Nelson Watford and family before 1850 and was counted in the census there in 1860.
He probably died in Jackson Co. FL and it is unknown if he
was transported back to Big Creek or rests near his son's family in Graceville.
