Mrs. Emanuel, widow of William J. Emanuel, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Born in Lexington County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Rudolph Lindler and Ruth Mae Amick Lindler. She was a member of St. Peter's Piney Wood Lutheran Church. She was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Mrs. Emanuel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was known for her wit and sense of humor.
Survivors include: her daughters, Nancy Gale King (Rev. Bruce) of Chapin and Sharon Emanuel Shepard (Pete) of VA; son, Ricky Wayne Emanuel (Kathy) of Richmond, IN; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Emanuel of Texas; her dear friend and co-worker, Elaine; and her four special "4 legged" babies. Mrs. Emanuel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son, Eddie Keith Emanuel.
The family would like to thank her doctor, Gregory Fulcher, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice with special thanks to her nurse, Lillianne.
