Frannie was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Cranston, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and LaVona Davis Shaffer. She had worked for the former Servus Rubber, Rock Island, retiring after 37 years of service. She had been a lifelong Chicago Cubs Fan. She enjoyed listening to Franky Lane and had been a cat lover. She loved her family and never forgot her nieces and nephews on their birthdays.
Survivors include her sister, Phyllis Gomez of East Moline; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Bonnie Stanlake, Jackie Duhlstine, and Mal Phelps; brothers, Ernest and Wayne Shaffer.
