Mrs. Sarah M. [sic] Kessinger, 37, died at her home in Ethel, Mo. 24 [sic] May 1897. She was the daughter of Joseph and Elvira Bailey and was born 24 [sic] March 1861. She married Jas. S. Kessinger 24 September 1867. She lived in this vicinity until 1874 when they went to Queen City, Schuyler county, Mo., where they lived sixteen years. Two years ago they returned to Macon county settling in Ethel where they have since lived. Funeral in Ethel church with burial in Bunce cemetery.
