She was a native of Missouri and a former resident of Lewiston, Mont. Before taking up residence in this city, where she lived the past seven years, she lived 18 years at Anderson.
Survivors are a son, Jesse Sample of Lewiston; a daughter, Mrs. Fannie Silverton [sic; Silverthorn] of Chico; three brothers, William Awbrey of Anderson, Gurden Awbrey of Newark, and John Awbrey of Richmond; a granddaughter, Miss Margaret Silverthorn of Chico, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral details, not yet announced, will be arranged by Westfall Funeral Home.
