Mrs. Sallie Maret, formerly of this county, aged fifty-nine years, died in the Jewish hospital in Louisville where she had been for several months for treatment and was buried in the Lancaster cemetery Saturday morning.

Mrs. Maret was one of the best known women in Garrard county having conducted large farming interests near Bryantsville and being very successful in the business world. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove church where she took an active part in all its affairs and all good movements growing out of church life.

Besides a host of friends, Mrs. Maret leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Boner of Nicholasville, and Mrs. Grant Trumbo, who lives near Louisville, to mourn her loss. She also leaves three brothers, Mr. Jack Adams, of this place, Mr. Joe Adams of Lexington, and Mr. Willis Adams of Braddock, N. D. as well as four sisters, all of whom reside in Texas.
