Jane K. Herb Stoppi, 78, of Frackville, passed away peacefully March 5 at Stoneridge Towne Centre Nursing Home, Myerstown.
Born in Frackville, Feb. 5, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Katherine Amour Herb.
A graduate of Frackville High School, she worked for the former Model Garment Factory as a blind stitcher and co-owned Stoppi Plumbing and Heating with her husband, Joe.
Jane was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joseph Stoppi, in 2011; a son, John Stoppi, in 2001; a grandson, Adam Sukana, in 2003; and a brother, Robert Herb, in 2012.
Jane is survived by a son, Donald Stoppi and his wife, Donna, Leola; a daughter, Nancy Sukana, Frackville; a brother, Charles Herb, Virginia; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
