Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davenport. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery next to her husband. Memorials may be made to Genesis VNA Hospice.
Marion was born September 5, 1915, the daughter of Wilhelm and Dora (Wiese) Stamer. She was united in marriage to Thomas E. Mullin on May 23, 1944, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Davenport. Her husband preceded her in death on April 15, 1998. Mrs. Mullin was employed by Red Jacket Pump in Davenport for several years. Later, she worked at Marycrest College, holding several positions prior to retiring in 1984. One of her favorite memories was meeting Mother Theresa during her visits to Davenport. Marion was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davenport.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Rosanne and Charles Lewis and Kathleen and Wayne Petersen, all of Davenport; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Pam Mullin, Davenport, Neil and Anna Mullin, Gadsden, Ala., and Thomas J. and Hannah Mullin, Sterling, Va.; grandchildren, Kristen, Stacey, Jeffrey, Lisa, Lyndsey, Reagan, Courtney, Nonnie, Caitlin and Zachary; great-grandson, Alex; sisters-in-law, Sister Margaret M. Mullin, BVM, Dubuque, Iowa, and Kaye (William) Daley, Davenport; brother-in-law, John Mullin, Maquoketa, Iowa; and a brother, Edward Stamer, Davenport. She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Harry Lorenz and Martha and Richard Miclot, brothers and sister-in-law, Howard and Betty Stamer and Arnold Stamer, and a sister-in-law, Leone Stamer.
