Services for Cleo Olivia Belman, 63, of 1207 12th St., Silvis, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis, where she was a member. Entombment is in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with a rosary recited at 7. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Belman died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1996, at home.
The former Cleo Hernandez was born June 3, 1933, in Horton, Kan., the daughter of Anthony and Efilia Molinar Hernandez. She married Jess H. Belman June 19, 1954, in Silvis.
She had been employed as a nurse at Illini Hospital in Silvis, retiring in 1993 after 25 years. She was also a volunteer Spanish interpreter at Illini.
She was a eucharistic minister and catechism teacher at the church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and painting.
Survivors include the widower; daughters, Jacquelynn Wiersema, Phoenix, Ariz.,
Denise Shearer, and Loretta Blieu, both of Davenport; sons, Christopher and Mark Belman, both of Silvis, Robert Belman, Davenport, and Eric Belman, Moline; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Alice Pinkerton, Colona, and Angie Raychel, Tolleson, Ariz.; and brothers, Tony and Steve Hernandez, both of Moline, and Marty Hernandez, Green Rock.
