SUBLETTE-Carrel Buck Strange, 79, died Wednesday Feb, 20, 1980 at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal. Born July 28, 1900, at Grand Prairie, TX, he married Tommie Byrdie Castleman in 1922. She died Mar. 18, 1956. He married Ruth E. (Dyas) Moore Sep. 8, 1956. She died Oct. 20, 1979. He was retired worker in the roofing business and he painted grain elevators. He lived here since 1962.
He was a member of The Church Of The Nazarene, Sublette.
Survivors: sons, Cecil, P.J. both of Liberal, Adrian of Choctaw, OK., Billie of Chula Vista, CA., brothers, William of Comanche, OK.; Jessie of Byers, TX., Austin of Sepulveda, CA., sisters, Mrs. Lillie May Faulton of Ringling, OK., Mrs. Merle Hargus of Beaumont, CA.; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church; the Rev. Jim Lynch. Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery. Friends may call from noon Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday at Kitch Funeral Home, Liberal.
