Carolyn Curtis Bills, 91, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, in Knoxville, Iowa. She was born November 30, 1921, in Plano, Iowa, to Elmer and Mary (Fenton) Curtis. She married George E. Bills in 1944.
She is survived by her children, David (Judy) Bills of Texas, Kathy (Steve) Gwinn of Knoxville, and Gary E. Bills of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, George Bills.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines, followed by burial at Elgin Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
