Services held Saturday for Grace Applegate
Grace Ellen Applegate, 78, of Cozad, died on Thursday at Southview Manor in Cozad. She was born Nov. 30, 1900 in Cozad.
She is a lifelong resident of Cozad and was a member of the Church of Christ, 22nd and Newell.
Survivors include: one son, Wendell of Cozad; Two daughters, Mrs. Vern (Wilda) White of Cozad, Mrs. John (Lola) Johnson of Lexington; one brother, Jesse Henry of Cozad; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 22nd and Newell, with Don Flynn officiating. Burial was in the Cozad Cemetery.
A memorial had been established to the Church of Christ.
Berryman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
