Velma Gean Reynolds Lee of Hot Springs, Arkansas was born January 19, 1927 in Grapevine, the daughter of the late Gaylon Andrew Reynolds and Nettie Alice Wood Reynolds.

She died Monday, March 18, 2013 at her home in Hot Springs at the age of 86. She was the widow of James Laurns Lee, whom she married in 1947.

Mrs. Lee was a graduate of Grapevine High School and the Judkins Business School of Pine Bluff. She is a member of Center Fork Baptist Church in Hot Springs and had fond memories of her administrative work supporting the construction of the Shasta Dam in California, and later, working with Urban Renewal and Community Developments projects for the city of Pine Bluff. Mrs. Lee was active in the American Business Women's Association during her career..

Survivors: Daughter, Anita Ann Lee Flynn of Haymarket; Virginia; Sister, Frankie Dean Wilson of Woodlawn, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas, followed by a 2:30 pm graveside service at the Grapevine Cemetery in Grapevine, Arkansas, officiated by Bro. Lynn Baxter, Senior Pastor of Center Fork.
