Dorsey was the husband of Ida Rosette Strang, whom he married September 25, 1915 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He was 26 years old, from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and she was 19 years old from Fayetteville, Pennsylvania. He was a retired painter.
Survivors include three daughters: Mrs Louis J. Bellemo and Mrs. Robert B. McLinn, both of Progress, and Mrs. William H. Tarman of Port Carbon; two sisters: Miss Treva and Miss Ruth Cullison, both of Harrisburg.
The Rev. Harold R. Eaken, pastor of Progress Community Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
