Alice's obit - A life long resident of Decker, died at Marlette Extended Care Facility. She graduated from Marlette High School in 1941. Alice worked at a defense plant during WWII with the Rosie the Riveter female workforce, contributing to the American war effort. She also was a home maker and worked at Mel Coles Jewelers of Marlette. Alice was a long time member of Decker United Methodist Church and U.M.W. women group where she was a past president and also former 4H leader. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, square dancing and playing board games. She was preceded in death by her parents, grand daughter Sandra Marshall and brothers Arnold & Luke Fischer. Burial will be in the Moshier Cemetery in Hemans, MI.
