Orra was born in Simsbury CT and married to Huldah Baxter in 1798 in Sandisfied, MA. Then he went with Huldah's brother's family to Monroe County NY. Maybe Clarkson township. However, the county and township lines were changing at that time. Orra and some of the family go on to MI but no records of Huldah. There are land office Records for Monroe County Michigan in 1834. Then, Lapeer in 1837 and 1840. I have look for Huldah and other of his children in NY and MI—no luck. Actually, I live in CA but have visited the Sand Hill Cemetery. If you are helping to repair and take care of it, I sincerely appreciate your effort. In this cemetery Orra's daughter Juliann Beach Allen and family are buried. Also, another daughter Louisa Beach Smith and family. Orra's nephew, Miles J Beach and wife are there, too,. Orra had at least 4 other children that I haven't found. My tie is to Orra's younger brother who went to New York and then Ohio BUT several of his children (not my directly line) went to Michigan but only Miles to Lapeer.
