Darrell Leroy Arnold, 51, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Wednesday May 23, 2007 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
The son of Max and Wynona Marie (Johnson) Arnold, he was born March 24, 1956 in Kirksville, Missouri. He graduated from the Brashear High School with the class of 1973. He worked for several years at Northeast State Teachers College and then worked livestock for the Kirksville Livestock Market until his health failed.
He loved to work cattle, John Deere tractors and to watch Cardinals Baseball.
Darrell is survived by one brother, Lendal Arnold of Kirksville, Missouri; two sisters, Bonita Sutton of Kirksville, Missouri and Sharon Egbert and husband Van of Mason City, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 26, 2007 at the Davis-Playle-Husdon-Rimer Funeral Home with Pastor David Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
Pallbearers will be Billy Sutton, Howie Sutton, Randy Watson, Jim Snyder, Brian Salsberry and Charles Porter.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday May 26, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Darrel Arnold Memorial Fund.
