Son of Edward W. and Flora (Blank) Berry and lived in Worcester, for 20 years in Holden, and later in Boylston, Hopedale and Wells, Maine, before recently moving to Agawam. He graduated from Norwich University, Northfield, Vt., and from the Harvard Business School, Cambridge.

Mr. Berry worked in sales for Smith Corona in Worcester and was later a self-employed office supplies salesman, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Boylston Lodge of Masons in West Boylston, and the Aletheia Grotto in Worcester. He was a former member of the First Congregational Church of Holden.

He leaves a daughter, a brother, four grandchildren, nephews and nieces. His first wife, Josephine S. (Stewart) Berry, died in 1966 and his second wife, Jean F. (Soule) Berry, died in 1993.
