Julian Wade "Bud" Staggs, 77, of Campobello, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Landrum Hospice House. He was Husband of Carolyn Holden Staggs, his loving wife of 54 years.

He is also survived by two sons, Scott H. Staggs and wife Sharon, and Gregg C. Staggs and wife Debra five grandchildren, Kiley, Clint, Brandon (Marina), Morgan (Lee) and Lane; three great grandchildren, Caleb, Luke and Levi.

He was the first Eagle Scout in Landrum and served 6 years in the military. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville and was the first employee of Landrum Mills retiring after 43 years.

The family will receive friends from 3:30-4:30pm Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Gownesville. A memorial service will follow at the church conducted by Dr. Chad Rickenbaker and Dr. Don McIntyre.
