Norwood, GA - Mrs. Bessie Shelton O'Stephenson, age 96, beloved wife of the late Mr. Johnny O'Stephenson of Church Street died Wednesday evening at Mt. Pleasant Assisted Living Center in Thomson, GA.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Revs. Carol Fox and David Jenkins officiating.
Mrs. O'Stephenson, a native and lifelong resident of Warren County was the daughter of the late William C. and Willie Nelson Shelton. She was a homemaker and for over 30 years worked as an Avon Representative. Mrs. Bessie was a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church and the most avid NASCAR fan most of us have ever seen.
Survivors include her daughter and son - in-law, Linda and Terry Evans, and a grandson, Mark S. (Debra) Evans, all of Spokane Valley, WA.
The family would like to thank the following earthly angels, Carla Crumpton Burkey, Donnie and Betty Lane Reese, and Ray and Judy Lawrence and the many other neighbors for their loving care and concern of Mrs. O'Stephenson.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 till 10:30 AM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home.
