She married Judge John Harvey Brigham about 1868 and later in 1890, married Capt. John Henderson Pickens.

She was a founding member of the John Davis Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution in Abilene on 18 Jul 1914. Her Revolutionary Patriot was Lt. Col. Ezekiel Polk of South Carolina.
