Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Burriss was born May 4, 1925, in Warrensburg, Mo., to Ruby and Kenneth Burriss.
He married Ann Montgomery on May 29, 1949. He started working for TWA in Amarillo in 1943 after high school. He transferred to K.C. and then back to Amarillo in 1972 as general manager of TWA until he retired in 1982.
He was a mason and a shriner.
Survivors include a sister, Fleeta Livengood of Warrensburg, Mo.; a son, Craig Burriss and wife Donna of Amarillo; a daughter, Beverly Curtis and husband Robert of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Kimberly Pickens, Kirk Burriss and Kara Foreman; and a great-grandchild, Cohen Pickens.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
