"John Tolson Laid At Rest Thursday"
Funeral services were held Thursday evening, 5 o'clock, from Miles chapel, for John Benjamin Tolson, who died Tuesday at Miami Inspiration hospital, following illness of about two months. Rev. Burl N. Long, pastor of the Globe and Claypool Methodist church officiated.
Mr. Tolson had been a long time resident of Arizona and Miami for about 25 years and was born in Fayette, Mo., March 9, 1877. He was employed at the Inspiration pump station.
He is survived by his loving wife Myrtle Tolson and three daughters, Mrs. A.W. Garrymore, Maywood, Calif.; Mrs. V.M. Walters, Claypool, and Mrs. M.M. Lemley, Long Beach, Calif., and several grandchildren.
Pall bearers were C.K. Luthy, J.Fulcher, Wm. Peterson, Walter Long, Godfrey Sain and V.V. Moeller.
Interment was in Pinal cemetery.
