Stanley, 81, of Eaton Rapids, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013. He was the son of Arnold and Elvina Frisell.

Stanley grew up in Dansville, Michigan where he graduated from Dansville High School. He was a frontline medic for the US Army during the Korean War where he was honorably discharged.

Stanley worked in tool and die for Lansing Tool and Die, Adams Tool and Die, Dowding Industries, Goodnoes Tool and Die and retired later from Olofsson Corp.

He was a life member and past post master of the Springport VFW Post 6056 and a member of the Onondaga VFW Post 6986.

Stanley enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards and spending time with his cat, Sabrina. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who remember him.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Clarice Frisell; son, James Frisell; brother, Russell Frisell and sisters, Jo Ann Rose and Glenda Brady.

Surviving are his daughters, Anna (Jeff) Burrows, Trudy (Paul) Amburgey; son, Dennie (Tammie) Frisell; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Heskett as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services was on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids.
