Tina Marie Fintel, age 48, of Aplington, Iowa was born the daughter of Clarence and Marie Rose (Berger) Ackerson on September 27, 1964 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She attended Cedar Falls High School.
Tina was united in marriage with Greg Fintel on July 9, 1999 in Waterloo, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived in Waterloo for a short time. Since 2001, Tina and Greg have lived in the Aplington/Parkersburg area.
Tina enjoyed taking pictures, photography and scrapbooking. Tina was a great cook and loved spending time with her husband and family.
Tina died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Allen Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Alex and Dakota in infancy; and two brother-in-laws, Ronald Fox and Ralph Fleck.
Tina is survived by her husband, Greg; six sons, Terry (Rebecca) Smith Jr. of Parkersburg, Zach (Christina) Deitrick of Waterloo, Jacob Deitrick of Waterloo, Cody Fintel of Waterloo, Nathan (Katherine) Ackerson of Omaha, Nebraska ,and Jacob Fintel; three daughters, Miranda Fintel of Cedar Falls, Danielle (Sam) Fintel of Waterloo and Beighlie Fintel; ten grandchildren, Saphire Smith, Aaliah Truax, Chayse Smith, Melanie Smith, Nevaeh Smith, Brycen Smith, Landon Phillips, Tayton Deitrick, Jayden Ackerson and Kaylee Jones; one brother, Kim (Cindy) Ackerson of Cedar Falls and two sisters, Pam Fox and Mary Bloes both of Waterloo.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Parkersburg.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg, (319)346-1534.
