Funeral services for Mary Virginia Clark Blaylock, 96, of Holcomb, were at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Sparta United Methodist Church near Holcomb. Burial followed in Sparta Cemetery.
Visitation was Thursday, March 14, from noon until 2 p.m., at the Sparta United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Blaylock passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Grenada Lake Medical Center.
She was born on March 17, 1916, and was the daughter of Walter George Clark and Ann Elizabeth Vance Clark of Holcomb.
Mary was a housewife and mother and was a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ann Elizabeth Clark; her husband, Eugene Blaylock; two sisters; and one brother.
Mrs. Blaylock is survived by two daughters, Glenda Little of Holcomb and Betty Turnipseed of Grenada; three grandchildren, Melanie Ainsworth and her husband, Bruce, of Brandon, Miss., David Little and his wife, Beth, of Texarkana, Texas, and Chris Turnipseed and his wife, Laurie, of Eupora; and four great-grandchildren, Sara Grace Little, Cooper Little, Lindsey Turnipseed, and Lacey Turnipseed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sparta United Methodist Building Fund or the Sparta Cemetery Fund.
National Funeral Home was in charge.
