He was a CPO, U.S. Navy, retiring in 1967 after 20 years of service and retired from the civil service Naval Mine Engineering Facility, Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, in 1972 after 15 years of service.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Myrtle A. Brown.
