Raymond Keefhaver, 95, of King City, MO, formerly of Edgerton, MO passed away, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at King City Manor. He was born on January 1, 1918 to William Nickolas and Grace (Hellyer) Keefhaver in Edgerton, MO where he grew up and graduated from Edgerton High School. Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army Corps during WWII. Raymond worked for General Motors in Fairfax for 30 years. After his retirement he farmed near King City. He attended the First Christian Church of King City. Raymond was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge both in Edgerton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Martha Lorene (Bryan) Keefhaver in 1976 and Velma (Kemp) Keefhaver; brothers, Robert Keefhaver and Joseph Keefhaver; son, Bryan Keefhaver and grandson, Eric Keefhaver. Raymond is survived by his wife, Minnie Jean Keehaver; son, Charles Keefhaver and wife Connie, Rushville, MO, daughter in law, Gini Keefhaver, Edgerton, MO; step-son, Chuck Hume and wife Carolyn, Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Troy Keefhaver and Bryan Keefhaver and wife Ella; step-grandson, Jason; other relatives and many friends. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Masonic Service at 12:30 p.m. and Visitation from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial: Ridgely Cemetery.
