MEYER
Margaret Lillian Meyer, 77, of Sabetha died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at Sabetha Community Hospital.
She was born December 25, 1923, in Oneida, the daughter of Noah Strahm and Frieda Wegman Strahm. She attended country school north of Oneida.
Mrs. Meyer was baptized at the Friedens Evangelical Reformed Church north of Seneca and was a charter member f the First Lutheran church of Sabetha. She lived in Junction City from 1956 to 1963, and moved to Sabetha in 1963.
She was married to Fred W. Meyer on May 4, 1944 at Seneca. He preceded her in death July 27, 1974. She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Meyer.
Surviving are two daughters, Marlene Oppenlander of Topeka and Marcia Edlredge of Dallas, two sons, Melvin Meyer and Michael J. Meyer, both of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Walter Strahm and Elmer Strahm, both of Sabetha and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday at the First Lutheran Church in Sabetha. Interment will be in Friedens Church Cemetery north of Seneca.
