Natalie J. Mizenko, 55, of Hot Springs, passed away March 11, 2013. She was born June 5, 1957 in Hot Springs to Harold Cecil and Vida Elouise (Ashley) Widener.

Natalie loved being a Goldduster and graduated from Lakeside High School with the class of 1975. On April 3, 1976 she was united in marriage to Michael Mizenko at Lake Hamilton Baptist Church. They moved to Austin, Texas where Natalie worked for the Internal Revenue Service and welcomed their cherished daughter Ashley. After four years, they returned to Arkansas where she was employed with the U.S. Forest Service until retiring in 1994. Her will to live and faith in God gave her the strength to face the challenges brought on by chronic illness.

Natalie enjoyed interpreting for the deaf, writing poems, bird watching, sewing, and baking. She was an incredibly loving mother and the most wonderful "Aweme" to her precious granddaughter Addison.

She is predeceased by her parents, brother, Ed Widener and sister, Charlotte Bledsoe.

Loving survivors include husband, Michael Mizenko, of Hot Springs; daughter, Ashley (Jay) Godwin, of Nixa, Missouri; sister, Juanice (Jerry) Chitwood, of Royal; sister, Debra (Richard) Lee, of Centerton; brother-in-law; Jim Bledsoe, of Hot Springs; sister-in-law, Cathy Widener, of Hot Springs; and her treasured grandchild, Addison Godwin. Natalie also leaves behind a beloved aunt and uncle, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and very close friends.

A memorial service in Natalie's honor will be 3:00 p.m., Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Bro. George Lynch officiating.
