CURWENSVILLE - Samuel Gilbert Norris III, 46, of Ridge Ave., Curwensville, died Wednesday, March 30, at 4:30 p.m.

He was born in Curwensville Jan. 7, 1931, the son of S. Gilbert and Vida (Ellinger) Norris.

He had been a barber in Curwensville for the past 32 years.

He was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church, president of the Mizpah Sunday School Class at the church and a member of the Curwensville Moose Lodge.

Survivors Include his wife, the former Loretta Anderson, and a daughter, Kelly Ann, at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles F. Hess officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral.

The family suggests that contributions be made to the building fund of the church
