Luis A. Gonzalez, 37, of 223 Brandybook lane, Phoenix died Saturday night, at his home
following a long illness. Mr. Gonzalez, born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He has been a resident of the Phoenix Community for 10 1/2 years. A salesman, he was a communicant of St. Stephen's Church and a former member of the Phoenix Lions Club He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Patricia Wallace Gonzalez; a daughter, Kimberlee Shaw Gonzalez of Phoenix; his mother, Mrs Juana Gonzalez; two brothers, Frank and William Gonzalez; all of Santurce; one sister, Mrs. Theresa Rodriquez of Puerto Rico. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Jan. 24th. A high mass of rquiem was celebrated in St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the spring in Phoenix Rural Cemetery.
