Robert Elkin died 1822 in Clark County, leaving wife, Sarah and sons, Robert, Enoch, and Zachariah, also daughters. Zachariah Elkin, born 1767, in Virginia; died 1846, Kentucky; married 11 June, 1791, Madison County, Ky, Mary Fletcher, born 1771, died 1830, daughter of William Fletcher. Their son, Robert Elkin, born 1794; died 1874, lived in Garrard County, KY, and his daughter, Margaret Elkin born 20 Dec, 1832; died 9 Sept 1891, married John Milton McRobert
