RICHARD "RICK" AUTRY TERRELL
April 23, 1938 - September 19, 1998

Richard Autry Terrell, 60, Joplin, formerly of Stockton, a retired laborer, died Saturday, September 19, 1998, in Brookline, Springfield, after a short illness.

rick Terrell was born April 23, 1938, in Stockton, to Leota and Clyde Terrell. He lived in Stockton until 1956 and served with the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1959. He married Betty Torres on August 28, 1958, in Hawaii.

Survivors include one son, Paul Anthony Terrell of Portsmouth, VA.; four daughters, Bernadette Marie Terrell of Rockaway Beach, Norma Jean Watson of Forsyth, Linda Ann Burch of Hawaii, and Susan Joy Kuhel of Rogersville; two brothers, LaFrance Terrell of Anaheim, Calif. and Polmur Terrell of Joplin; four sisters, Daisy Hornbeck of Springfield, Cloetta McMillen of Joplin, Yuphamia Johnson of Galena, Kansas, and Janey Hodges of Webb City; six granddaughters; three grandsons; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services were at noon Tuesday, September 22 in Stockton Cemetery, with the Rev. Ron Gross officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Brumback Funeral Home.

Betty Terrell's real name was Elizabeth Torres. Betty was Elizabeth's nickname.

Richard's father name was Clyde Ernest Terrell.
