W. C. Mulvaney

William C. Mulvaney, 93, of 245 Straub Rd., died at the home of his daughter Thursday afternoon following a one-month illness.

He was born Oct. 4, 1873, near Iuka, Ill., and lived most of his life there, until moving to Mansfield for the past year. Mr. Mulvaney was a retired section foreman for the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad, a member of the Methodist Church at Iuka, a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and a former member of the Modern Woodman Lodge.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. P. W. Conway of 245 Straub Rd., with he made his home, Mrs. Gertrude Meek of Carlisle, Ind., Mrs. Elmer Donahue of Cullom, Ill., Mrs. Oma West of Frankfort, Ind., Mrs. Violet Watson of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and 30 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and four step-children in Illinois.

The body is at the Wappner Funeral Home and later will be removed to the McMackin Funeral Home at Salem, Ill., for services and burial on Monday.
